Fentress County residents age six and over may obtain a library card free of charge.  Out of county residents may obtain a library card for a fee of $10 per year and out of state residents may obtain a library card for a fee of $20 per year. All patrons must show proof of current mailing address via driver's license, utility bill, or postcard mailed to patron's home.

If items are returned late, the following fines apply: .25 per day per book; audios, cds, dvds, and videos 1.00 per day per item. Items can be renewed by phone and/or returned in the book drop to avoid overdue charges.

YES!! Items donated to the library will be evaluated by library staff. Items that the library can use will be processed and added to the collection. Items that cannot be used will be placed in the library's book sale.

Yes, the library accepts all monetary donations in memory of or in honor of loved ones. When donations are made, a book will be purchased and a label will be placed inside of the book recognizing the donation. A permanent recognition will be placed in the library's memorial book, and a card will be sent to the family

The library provides free internet service: prints are .25 per page.

The library provides copier service: copies are .15 per page.

The library provides fax service: to send $1 per page if toll-free number, $2 per page if long distance, and $1 per page to receive. The library's fax number is 931-879-6984.

The Boating Safety Exam can be taken at the library by making an appointment. This is an online exam and must be given by one of the library staff.
